BREATH ALCOHOL TESTS
Breathalyzer Test Services at Lifeline Urgent Care in Houston, TX
Lifeline Urgent Care offers physician-led occupational medicine services to businesses across a wide range of industries in the Houston, Texas, area. As part of these services, we can provide a breathalyzer test to your employees to gauge blood alcohol concentration (BAC). The more alcohol an individual consumes, the higher his or her BAC level will be. A subtle high or feeling of relaxation may be felt when the amount of alcohol in the blood rises to 0.02 to 0.03 percent.
What does a breathalyzer test involve?
A breathalyzer test measures the amount of alcohol in a person’s breath. The patient will blow for three consecutive seconds into a small device that immediately evaluates breath. If the patient has been drinking, it will be detected. The device will then provide an estimation of BAC based on the breath sample.
While Lifeline Urgent Care isn’t the only medical practice that provides breathalyzer tests and other occupational health services in the Houston area, we stand apart from many other clinics thanks to the high level of physician care and convenience we provide.
